Questions breeders ask
Do I need a card to start the trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with 14 days free, and you can cancel any time during them from Settings. If you cancel, you are never charged.
Do my families pay anything?
No. Portals, picking day, signing a contract, viewing an invoice: all of it is free for the families, forever, on every plan.
What does "founding pricing, locked for life" mean?
Your monthly price on the day you sign up is the price you keep for as long as your subscription stays active, even when plan prices go up later. Founding breeders also get the first look at everything new, and build updates along the way.
Can I change plans?
Any time, up or down, from Settings. Changes prorate through Stripe.
What happens if a payment fails or I stop paying?
Your hive goes read-only after a two-week grace period. Nothing is deleted, nothing is hidden, and your families can still sign contracts and view their portals. Fix the card and everything comes back.
How does the genetics reading work? Is AI extra?
Features that read a report use your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, which you add in Settings. There is no AI markup and no per-use fee from us. Without a key, those features simply stay out of the way.
